We Built a Euchre App. Here's Why.

We Built a Euchre App. Here's Why.

I learned Euchre at a kitchen table in Fort Wayne.

I grew up in New Jersey. Euchre was not a thing there. I had never heard of it until I met my wife Katelynne in Chicago in 2015 and she mentioned her family played cards at Christmas. That December I drove to Fort Wayne to meet her family for the first time. Her dad Tony sat me down at the kitchen table and dealt me in. I had no idea what a bower was. I did not know why one Jack outranked another. Tony was patient. The family was loud. I lost badly and had a great time.

That was the last winter I remember everyone putting their phones down.

Katelynne and I live in Indiana now with our family. But somewhere between 2015 and today, the card nights got quieter. Smartphones got better. Social media got louder. The deck started staying in the drawer. Not because anyone stopped loving the game, but because nobody wanted to be the rules referee, and it was easier to scroll than to teach.

I am a developer. So I built Marty.

Who is Marty

Marty is the patient coach built into Euchre Mate who already knows every rule and never gets tired of explaining the left bower. He keeps score. He answers questions mid-hand without stopping the game. He lets Tony just play, and lets the next Tony at the next table learn the game the same way I did. By being dealt in.

Euchre Mate is free to play, ad-free, and requires no app store download. Open your browser, pick your seat, and play. The AI opponents, Earl, Doris, and Ruth, play like people you would actually sit across from at a card table in Shipshewana.

Why This Matters for Our Clients

Before building Euchre Mate, I spent years in the gaming industry, including running CRM for Jackpot Party Slots, one of the biggest social casino games in the world. I know what it looks like when an app is designed to keep you scrolling instead of living your life. Euchre Mate is built to do the opposite.

It is also a proof point. A card game requires real logic, trick-taking rules, trump suits, loner calls, and AI decision-making that does not feel stupid. It is a more complex build than it looks from the outside. The same thinking that went into Euchre Mate goes into every custom tool we build for small businesses.

The Davis Estimator required AI-powered quoting logic specific to the sign and awning industry. The Hitch loyalty platform required a gamified patch economy built for Amish country tourism. The School Tour Booking Platform required a scheduling flow that matched how a private school actually handles prospective families.

The tools look different. The approach is the same. If you can describe the problem clearly, we can build something around it.

Try It
