AI Image Metadata Scrubber

Remove embedded metadata from AI-generated images before posting to social media. Works in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

What this tool does: removes EXIF data and embedded metadata tags (including AI generation markers like Software tags and C2PA provenance data) from your image file.

What it does not do: defeat perceptual AI detection. Platforms like Facebook also use AI models that analyze pixel patterns to identify AI-generated images, independent of any metadata. Stripping metadata helps in many cases but is not a guaranteed solution.

Drag and drop an image here, or click to choose

JPG, PNG, or WebP. Everything stays in your browser.
